dc.description"El hombre es responsable de la noción del riesgo, ya que lo ocurrido antes de su evolución no lo implica, sólo la incertidumbre de su futuro, en donde los procesos naturales que mantienen al planeta en constante cambio, principalmente aquellos de desarrollo rápido, adquieren relevante importancia, puesto que ponen en peligro y evidencian la fragilidad de la especie humana; cuyas actividades además se reconocen como las principales causas de alterar drásticamente los ecosistemas, pasando el riesgo a ser la suma de los procesos de origen humano, que interactúan con una amplia gama de procesos naturales. Así su definición y conceptualización se desprende de reflexiones folosóficas, que empiezan adquirir importancia a partir de la revolución industrial, pero sin lograr en la actualidad alcanzar consenso."
dc.description"Man has been responsible for the notion of risk, as that which occurred before human evolution was not implied but rather the uncertainty of humans over the future. Natural processes that maintain the planet in a state of constant change, mainly those which rapidly develop, acquire greater relevance as they endanger humans and evidence the fragility of the human species, whose activities are recognized as one of the main causes of the drastic alterations to ecosystems. In this scenario, the sum of processes of human origin, interacting with a wide range of natural processes, has come to represent a risk, whose definition and conceptualization originates in philosophical reflections that acquire significance after the Industrial Revolution although up to now no consensus has been achieved."
