dc.description.abstract"Se describe una especie nueva del enigmático género de arañas Mexentypesa (Raven, 1987) de bosque de niebla en el estado de Hidalgo, México: M. hidalguensis sp. nov. La descripción de la especie está basada en ejemplares adultos machos y hembras. El descubrimiento incrementa la diversidad dentro del género a dos especies: Mexentypesa chiapas (Raven, 1987) y la nueva especie descrita aquí. Aptostichus sabinae sin. n. (=M. chiapas) previamente descrita como especie diferente es formalmente sinonimizada en este trabajo."es

dc.description.abstracten"A new species of the enigmatic spider genus Mexentypesa (Raven, 1987) from a cloud forest in Hidalgo state, Mexico is described: M. hidalguensis sp. nov. The description of the species is based on both male and female adult specimens. This discovery increases the diversity of the genus to two species: Mexentypesa chiapas (Raven, 1987) and the new species described herein. Additionally, Aptostichus sabinae syn. nov. (=M. chiapas), which was previously described as a different species, is formally synonymized. "es
