"At present, beneficial microorganisms are used in shrimp culture to control potential bacterial pathogens and to increase productive response. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of Bacterol-SHRIMP on juveniles of Litopenaeus vannamei for the prevention of diseases and to promote adequate yields, absolute growth, daily weight gain, factor food conversion and survival. Doses were applied at 0, 150 and 200 g / ha. 315 organisms of 1.21 ± 0.05 g were used, which were distributed randomly in amounts of 35 per cage of 2.5 m3 each. After 60 days of experimentation, a significant difference (p <0.05) was found in the response variables with respect to the control, where 200 and 150 of the probiotic were applied, reaching 8.74 and 8.53 g in final weight with 8.10 and 95.24% survival respectively, the lowest values were reached in the control treatment. It was concluded that juveniles with 150-200 developed faster than organisms without any dose, under the experimental conditions established in this study."
