"We propose a new equation to calculate the transitional range of temperature (TRT) which provides an extension of the interval length calculated by previously published methods for the sea turtle Lepidochelys olivacea (Olive Ridley). The method could be applied in conservation programs of this species to determine the sex ratio. Our results showed a pivotal temperature of 29.9 ºC, and boundary limits of 27.1 ºC for masculinization and 32.9 ºC for feminization."
